Summary:  The Icons were made to show information visually without words and relay a meaning. The colors were to help support the theme of the system. Once applied to a diagram that showed information the icons worked as a system to help the viewer learn more about the topic. Then once the icons were applied to the museum merchandise they told a new story and worked with juxtaposition and pattering to make the show visually inviting.
